What’s involved?
For little more than the cost of a regular 2 tank dive, your instructor will spend 1:1 time teaching you about proper breathing techniques, trim and positioning, how to move with different fin movements and have some fun with some buoyancy games to get you to think about where you take up space in the water.
Who’s it for?
In the Open Water Course you should have mastered buoyancy to pass the class. However, with the passing of time (when perhaps you visit new dive environments / buy new equipment / lose or gain weight) then it’s entirely possible to need some more buoyancy training.
It is, after all, one of the most integral skills to scuba diving. With good buoyancy you save air, you dive safer and you get closer to aquatic life.

There is a small amount of online study to do before you arrive.
You will have a detailed briefing in the classroom with your instructor and then complete a two tank dive on the boat.
The practical session is approximately 5 hours.
