Camp Schedule

8 am – 5 pm daily. You can drop the kids off from 7 am.

SHORT COURSE:  DAY 1: Reef exploration, Pool, Class | DAY 2: Exploring in SCUBA Class | DAY 3: First Aid Class & Pool OR Dive   40ft License Completed!

EXTENDED COURSE: DAY 4: Open Water Cert Continued | Day 5: OW 60ft License Completed!

Kids Scuba Diving Vacation Camp

FUN-packed, life-changing, interactive days learning how to become competent, skilled SCUBA DIVERS!

We understand children and young adults. What’s more, the company is female-owned (by a mom!) and we have both male and female instructors on staff if you prefer to request one or the other.

We will evaluate our young student’s water-skills before we even put a tank on their back.

The Dive Center

The office staff will take your phone number and add you to a WhatsApp Chat where we will communicate all day with photos and videos of the daily progress.

The Boat

Our boat captain is our safety manager on board. We have lifejackets, bathrooms, shade and plenty of water and snacks.  We will anchor in calm, sheltered water only 5 minutes from the Marina. We are not going far off-shore.

Your Instructor

On arrival at the dive center, your child will be received directly by the instructor that will be their mentor and personal guardian for the whole course. If you want to know your instructor in advance, let us know.  Our PADI Elite Dive Instructors sign a Code of Conduct and have had Care for Children training.

Your Attendance

You can leave your child in our care. Feel free to join any class or boat session as a passenger, free of charge. You can dive with them too fpr an extra charge if you’d like, just let us know!

Paperwork

You will sign a Youth Diving document. Younger children receive an extra briefing highlighting how to communicate well, how to tell us if they feel uncomfortable with any skill in the course. We will provide you with an exact schedule of where your child will be (between the class, the pool and the boat)  one day before via WhatsApp.

• Medically fit to dive (no asthma, recent surgeries or injuries)

Scuba diving course

We will conduct the PADI Scuba Diver (3 Days) or PADI Open Water (5 Days) scuba diving courses and activities in a pool, at nearby dive sites such as Pelican Rock, North Wall, and Land’s End. We see tons of tropical fish, shape-shifting octopuses (and other alien-like creatures never seen on land!), majestic rays, and ugly eels!

Snorkeling and Free Diving

A short introduction to snorkeling and freediving will help us tweak their swimming skills, focus on their relaxation, and improve overall comfort in the water. Swim like a dolphin and feel completely immersed and relaxed as you swim without the bubbles on the reef!

Ocean Conservation course:

This class is an introduction into the PADI AWARE movement and discusses how we can really make a difference to pollution , sustainability of fish stocks and the protection of vulnerable species.

First Aid Course:

The FIRST AID COURSE is not only an important skill for everyone to have, but if they fall in love with diving (as we suspect they might!), this certificate is valid for 2 years if they want to progress to advanced Rescue Divers!

Our promise to you: You can put your faith in us when your children are in the water.

For 8 & 9  year olds, they will not venture further than 6ft, 2m. They will have their own instructor. The idea is to learn about the equipment and all the fun things you can do underwater in a shallow swimming pool-type environment.

For 10 years and older, the instructor will stick right by their side from the moment they roll backwards into the water until they are safely back on the boat.

Kids of 13 years and up will be encouraged to be slightly more autonomous at their own pace. PADI Diving Agency Standards are strictly adhered to and with Youth Divers we are extra especially vigilant in our conservative dive practices.

The first-day training begins in very, very shallow water! Students can progress AT THEIR OWN PACE until they feel comfortable diving deeper. As long as they can dive to 20ft, they pass the PADI Scuba Diver Course.

As for dangerous wildlife – well ANY Cabo dive instructor will tell you how they WISH they encountered biglife on every dive! The truth is, during beginner courses in the bay, the biggest risk is that they never want to get out of the water! Your child will be surrounded by smiling pufferfish, dancing wrasse, ugly eels, spotted eagle rays, schools of fish as big as the reef itself, and perhaps a surprise turtle or octopus along the way!

Certification & Credential

Once completed, your kids will receive a certification credential enabling them to scuba dive ANYWHERE in the world, valid forever!

As well as an ocean conservation certificate AND a first aid certificate.
