Los Cabos Whale Watching & Snorkel Combo
We start with a ride out into the blue for 2 hours of whale watching to look for the spectacular Humpbacks breaching, slapping and fluking. We will then spend 1 hour of Snorkeling at a nearby secluded reef . This tour can be private or shared with others. We operate this tour at either port of Los Cabos: San Lucas or San Jose.
If we’re lucky we might almost spot grey whales, Orcas and blue whales. After whale watching we will finish the tour at a snorkel site to check out the other amazing fish life that we have living here in the Sea of Cortez. We often spot pufferfish, tangs, parrot fish, rays, occasional turtles and more!
Tours available from San Lucas or San Jose From December 15 – April 15th.

Your guide will then decide, based on conditions, which reef would be suitable to go snorkeling. They will choose a reef with fewer boats and sheltered surface conditions.

Los Cabos Whale Watching Season
If you arrive between December 15 and April 15 then this is a great tour to consider. It combines the best of both activities!
The whales migrate to the warmer waters of Cabo San Lucas from the north where the climate is more favourable for birthing their young. So most boats leaving the marina will run into the whales no matter the activity! The water tends to be cooler this time of year – so tagging a 2 hour whale watching activity at the beginning of a snorkel tour is a really nice idea.
At the same time the reefs are full of tropical fish families that are here all whale watching season. At the beginning of whale season we have chances to see various species of whales but also schools of mobula rays congregating in huge numbers and then again in mid april.
