What’s involved?
This dry course will teach you how to extend your no decompression limits by using gas that is ‘enriched` with oxygen.
The higher o2 content means you absorb less nitrogen which is the determining factor in ending your dive if you can make your air last a long time. It will not give you better air consumption. For that, take a look at our Peak Performance Buoyancy Course.
Who is it for?
If you’re thinking of traveling to many different places to dive worldwide, chances are some of them will require a Nitrox Certification. Learn about NITROX, what is it and what are the benefits !
- Prerequisites: 12 years old diver or non-diver.
How long does it take?
The main bulk of the work will be independent study.
Then on arrival at the dive center we will conduct a workshop to teach you to analyze the gas content of the tank and how to correctly label it.
- Diving theory: 2 hours
- Number of dives: 0 or option to add 2 dives in Cabo San Lucas.

The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Speciality course cost $225 USD | eLearning & classroom workshop
Add an optional 2 tank Nitrox dive for $135 USD (plus equipment)
